As a native of Michigan, I have always been exposed to the farms and natural beauty of the countryside. As an avid student of
charcoal and ink drawings, I graduated from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan, completing my degree in art. There I
studied line perspective and oil paintings in detail. I have sold my paintings and prints to shops, museums and art lovers all over
the world. I am very honored and grateful to all those who have enjoyed my work.
After many years in my gallery, M. Frey Studio in the beautiful village of Leland, Michigan, I now reside in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
It too is a charming village surrounded by miles of massive long needle pine trees and of course many championship golf courses and
the famous Pinehurst Resort. The countryside of North Carolina is beautiful with farms and southern towns, many scenes that
will be wonderful to paint.
